Our Chef’s passion for food extends to whether it’s a quick sandwich at lunch time or a blade of beef braised lovingly for four hours over the stove. Local suppliers are used wherever possible, and indeed a huge amount of specials and vegetables featured daily are from local farms or Waltham Place Estate who share his passion. “We want to encourage small local suppliers to contact us to show off their produce, because if we like it then we’ll share it with all our customers.”
Our specials change daily, sometimes twice a day during the autumn when a local hunter turns up with some game! But our regular menus can be seen below featuring great pub classics (did I mention we’ve won awards for our burgers and fish and chips?) to a few dishes for those more adventurous.
